'EXPERT SEES BRIGHT SIDE FOR SNOWY NEBRASKA'

(AP/KRVN.com) -- The AP reports that even though Nebraska has been hard hit by snowstorms this winter season, "with more than two feet of snow in some areas of the state," climatologists say it will "help ease the state's drought concerns." Over the past decade, higher irrigation costs and decreased crop production in Nebraska "led to a loss of nearly $1 billion in the worst years."
