(Agriculture.com) -- Agriculture.com reports that data released recently by the Federal Reserve Bank of Kansas City indicate land values in several Midwestern and Plains states, including Nebraska, "have leveled from the recent decline, reaching a point Fed economists consider a new value plateau." Fed economist Brian Briggeman noted that the potential for lower farm incomes and increasing collateral requirements for credit are "fueling earlier speculation that a credit crunch may be on the horizon in the coming months."
